SB09-296, sponsored by Senator Betty Boyd and Representative Su Ryden, is a measure that would make not wearing a safety belt a primary offense, thereby requiring standard enforcement of safety belt laws in conjunction with all other traffic laws.


Su signs her first bill

Gov. Bill Ritter congratulates supporters of the Foster Parent IEP Training bill (HB 1078), which he signed into law on March 19. It was Rep. Ryden's first bill to be signed by the Governor. Sen. Mary Hodge sponsored the bill in the State Senate.
