TOWNHALL MEETING AIRS OUT THE BUDGET

Thanks for coming to our Townhall Meeting last Thursday.¬Ý We received a great analysis and overview of the Colorado budget and the Federal stimulus package from our panel of experts, including:¬Ý State Rep. Jack Pommer, Vice-Chairman of the Joint Budget Committee; Rich Jones, Director of Policy & Research, The Bell Policy Center, Darla Stuart, Executive Director, The ARC of Aurora, and Dr. Richard Traysman, Vice-Chancellor for Research, University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora.

Our next evening townhall meeting will be Thursday, April 16th, at the Community College of Aurora.¬Ý 16000 E. Centretech Pkwy., between Chambers & Buckley in Aurora.

Gov. Bill Ritter signed the Foster Parent Training bill (HB 1078) into law on March 19th at a ceremony attended by supporters, staff and fellow sponsor State Sen. Mary Hodge.
