About Su
State Rep. Su Ryden is a lifelong Democrat, longtime Aurora resident, business owner and an active community supporter.
LEGISLATIVE EXPERIENCE
Su is serving her second term in the Colorado House of Representatives. She represents east-central Aurora, and serves on three legislative committees:
- Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources
Considers bills relating to ranching, farming, nutrition, water, mining, oil & gas, forests and wildlife
- Judiciary Committee
Considers bills relating to business law, juvenile justice, crime prevention, civil and criminal law
- Legislative Audit Committee
Reviews all audits performed by the State Auditor and considers potential legislation
to address problems revealed by the audits
Su also serves as Deputy Caucus Chair in the House Democratic Caucus
